Family of Pierre Jacques Paitry Calkin

The third name of Pierre Jacques has been given a variety of spellings, including Paisey, Poitry, and Piotry. I have studied the birth certificate of his son Pierre Edward (my great-grandfather) with a large magnifying glass and am convinced that in that document the name is "Paitry". BUT on his own wedding certificate five years earlier it looks like "Poitry", although this document is smudgy and more difficult to read. I have searched the web for Poitry and Paitry and BOTH appear to be valid French names.
So for the time being "Paitry" it is.
