         Married: 26.01.1873 to Mary Ann Waring at Fenton, Staffordshire
         Died: c. 03.1890 Aged 44, registered in Stoke-on-Trent.
Calkin (nee Waring), Mary Ann
Daughter of Thomas Waring.
By the 1901 census, Mary Ann is listed as head of the household, and as a widow.
The 1901 census shows her as living at 139, Normacot Road, Longton, Staffs. with
her three children, and her son George's new bride.
In the 1911 census Mary Ann (aged 65) is listed living with her son Henry's family at the same address.
It looks like after her husband died in 1890, Mary Ann turned to Catholicism as there are four Congregational records
for the Roman Catholic parish for: Maria Anna, Georgius, Alicia and Thomas of Longton. (Source: FindMyPast)

In the 1911 census Thomas (aged 26) is listed living with his brother Henry's family at the same address.
