| Calkin (nee Kirkland), Annie Lilian In the 1921 census Annie (aged 29) is listed on her husbands return as above. But there is another daughter listed. Listed as Annie Kirkland b.1914 aged 6. The 1939 register has Annie (b.1891) living with Thomas as above, confusingly listed as "Widowed" ?. Perhaps she was born before they married and took the mothers surname. The 1939 register has Annie Groom (Kirkland). (the mystery daughter ?) living with Thomas as above. Her birthday listed as 16.08.1914. |

Quite oddly, although this family had nine children, the family line appears to end here.
Seven daughters, a boy that died very young, and for the only likely supplier of a line, Thomas,
I can find no children listed.
