Marriage Certificate (see below) has Eugene's occupation given as "Mechanic" living in Cumberland County, NJ
Eugene later moved to Atlantic City where he was a candy merchant and manufacturer for 25 years.
He was a Freemason.
Eugene moved to Millville NJ in 1947.
Eugene and hie wife Carrie were interred at Oak Hill Cemetery, Vineland, Cumberland County N.J.

Harry's birth date was discovered on his First World War draft registration form.
Harry C. Calkin had his first son, born as a Calkin, then before his third marriage,
for reasons unknown, changed his name to Harry C. Miller.
Therefore the third marriage was as a Miller and although his next two sons are
descended from the Calkin line, their birth certificates show the surname of Miller. |
