Can Anyone Confirm The Chap NOT On The Bike ? On the bike is cycling club member William Frederick Rice, taken around 1910. It is known that his best friend, and future Best Man at his wedding in 1913 was Lawrence Geoffrey Calkin. This was told to me by Jan Burden who supplied the photographs - (granddaughter of Mr. Rice). Jan has quite a few pictures of the mystery young man and is pretty sure it must be Lawrence. Can anyone out there confirm that we are holding pictures of young Lawrence Calkin from the early 20th century ? |
