She is shown as still being at school.
There is an entry in the London Gazette dated 4.10.1918 which may be Gladys,
it lists Gladys Calkin as being a Post Office Telephonist.
The 1921 census lists Gladys (aged 20) living with her husband and son at her husband's Aunt (Ellen Smith) at 7, Park Street, Cleethorpes, Lincolnshire.

         Married: c. 03.1919 to Arthur Anthony Gilbert, registered in Camberwell.

Arthur Gilbert married Margaret Prince on 26th December 1941.
Arthur and Margaret had two children, Andrew and Julie Gilbert (now Julie Clark).
Julie has two children, Hannah Clark (b.1980) and Lucy Clark (b.1983).
